The Beginning

Allright, I have finally put all these insane thoughts in my head onto the internet for billions of psychos to have complete access to. Why? Because after seeing what happened to Kurt's PRIVATE JOURNALS i figure i better just put it all online so my brother can't sell my journals for millions of dollars once i'm dead. Plus ink and paper was getting pretty expensive. I can't promise you that this won't be boring but i am really hoping it isn't. I mean i'm a pretty interesting person and once i've had a White Chocolate Carmel Oreo Chiller from Gloria Jean's i'm ready to start spilling my guts. Once again...YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. Oh and i am a grammar freak so i realize i ended the first sentence in a preposition but i like the way it sounds and i am keeping it that way! Oh and this blog doesn't have a mood or listening category at the beginning so i'm adding my own...

MOOD: antiscipating
MUSIC: Cutting Crew- (I just) Died in Your Arms Tonight. Actually its all of AWESOME80s2 on Netscape radio.

The Ashton Kutcher Look-a-like

The moment you have all been waiting for...::drum roll::... a picture of my cousin's cousin who looks alot like Ashton Kutcher but shows no interest in dating 40 year old women(yet)!!
And it would be perfectly legal for us to date because he is my dad's mother's daughter's husband's mother's daughter's son so he is actually of no relation to me. The first time i met him i was 10 and he was not this hot but i remember how i thought he was so cool because he and his older brother let me play football with them on Easter. And then he thought i was so cool because my dad and brother and I built these rockets and shot them off at the park down the road. Anybody want to take a road trip to Madisonville, Texas??!! Oh by the way his name is John Mark, i actually don't know his last name (that shows how in related to him i am) but his mom owns this flower shop so i'm sure we could work there for the summer...

Mood: Procrastinating
Music: It would be ima robot's Black Jettas but windows media player isn't working so i'm humming Miss Hanigan's song from Annie.

Mars, cars, bars, AND.......

GUITARS!!! no, these are not merely words that rhyme its actually from a song by Blondie. Unless you listen to awesome 80s at 8 on 101.9 or 94.5 i doubt you have heard it. If you have TELL ME!! Ok now where was i...ok yeah guitars. Well one guitar in particular. The one i got for christmas and have been diligently practicing every day since sunday. Also the same guitar which has formed holes in my fingers. They hurt. REALLY BAD. But i will not wimp out and get nylon strings. I will wait for the callouses to form!! But it is taking way too long. I can almost play the first verse before the pre-chorus of Green Day's Good Riddance (Time of your life). GO KATIE! I can successfully change from G to C9 to D and back again while picking the right strings!!! Now if i can learn Em to D to C to G i will have the pre-chorus down and move on to the chorus and then i just have to repeat it and i know the song! well this was supposed to be longer but my mom is coming to pick me up and we have to get my brother's cat from the vet because she got declawed today because we are getting new furniture. For the record my mother signed an aggreement when she adopted the cat that we would never get her declawed but we did so my mom has committed a crime! Perjury or Forgery or a felony or something. Pretty exciting. We'll probally have to go into hiding because i know the psychos at the Grayslake no kill animal shelter will be here soon to arrest us. AHHH!!! If i'm not on the bus to fall camp tomorrow you know what happened....

one quick note:
According to www.humanforsale.com I am worth exactly: $2,031,678.00. Wow. That's pretty cool. And the only questions i lied on were the IQ question (laugh all you want) and the SAT score question because i haven't taken either of them.

MOOD: Intrigued
MUSIC: the sounds of silence interrupted by my dad's cell phone and then interupted by our phone ringing...
QUOTE: I read USA Today for the colors. Comment if you know who said that...

The stupidity of movie rental employees

I am angry. Extremely angry. The details are dumb but basically my life feels horrible. I'm paranoid. i have no self confidence. And i am dreading going to fall camp. I feel completely worthless. It seems like i am all alone. I hate that feeling. Somebody pray for me or i'm gonna crack.

MOOD: words can't describe
MUSIC: the sound of my head pounding

My cat is a stoner

My brother's cat is completely high. When we picked her up from the vet she just sat in the cage bobbing her head, twitching, licking her lips, and then ramming her head against the cage. Then she repeated the pattern over and over and over and over again until we got home. The last time i checked on her (she's locked up in the bathroom) she was laying on her back staring at the ceiling. I wonder what she sees lol...well i better get going i have to finish packing for this weekend. fun fun fun.

MOOD: exhausted and amused
MUSIC: Hands Down by DC (FUNNY song) and the Kings of Leon- Molly's Chambers

Its Wednesday but it feels like Monday

I am exhausted. I spent the weekend in Wisconsin at my church's fall camp. It was beautiful and not TOO incredibly cold. I was kinda bummed out the whole weekend but i'm back to my perky self. I watched Gilmore Girls last night and i am sad because they got rid of Adam Brody's character and sent him to college and his NEW show the OC isn't on for a couple of weeks so i'm going through withdrawl. I tried watching One Tree Hill ( i STILL do not comprehend the name) and it is ok. I really like that hillary chic's character. She's a cheerleader but she loves the Ramones and DC and Indie rock and she's also an artist. She hates who she is and wants to express herself but she doesn't want people to know it is her. You gotta see the show to understand but i want to know what they do with her character and if they ruin her or not. Other random stuff...my mom loves Newlyweds because Jessica Simpson was on Oprah lol and they showed clip from the show, I never want to hear the word SPOON again, and you gotta watch VH1 monday night because its I LOVE THE 80's STRIKES BACK!!!

MUSIC: Dead Kennedys- Life Sentence, Milli Vanilli (LOL!!!)- Girl you know its true, and the Cranberries- Zombie AND the Dandy Warhols- We used to be friends
MOOD: hungry, tired, and thinking of all the things i have to do...

By now anyone that lives in Illinois or has any interest in baseball has heard about THE FAN. The poor guy that tried to catch a ball at game 6 of the playoffs to see who would go to the world series. The same guy that cause the outfielder to miss the ball and was then attacked by angry cubs fans and had to be escorted out of the park by security for his own safety. Every news station has angrily blamed this guy for the cubs' loss but its not his fault!!! The cubs need to take responsibility for their own loss. The shortstop missed the double play, the whole team gave up once they let in 8 runs, they acted like 3rd graders. Lay off the guy and GO marlins!!!

Congratulations Ashley on getting your driver's liscence!! Stay off the streets of Beach Park everybody!!!!

Music: ashley calling me on her cell phone to tell me she passed

Dear Mr. Vernon:

We accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it is we did wrong, but we think you're crazy for making us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us: in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain, and an athlete, and a basket case, a princess, and a criminal. Does that answer your question?

Sincerely yours,
The Breakfast Club.

Jessica Simpson, Dumb or Not?

Jessica Simpson puzzles me. She's just plan dumb. But is it an act or is it ignorance? The world may never know but we'll all keep watching Newlyweds to keep seeing the stupidity and wait for the final episode where Nick will most likely lose it completelyand put her out of her misery. MSN had an article about them....here's part of it....
"That much fame might have twisted us into freakish balloon animals until we couldnít so much as buy groceries without a personal assistant. That itís just as well we never hit it big.
Jessicaís level of semi-fame is perfect for this purpose. If she were living the very high life of a very successful person, she might be having so much fun that it would be hard not to envy her. If she drops much lower on the totem pole, it will be hard not to feel sorry for her, given her obvious lack of preparation for any role in life other than the one she has now.
For the time being, it is just right to watch her bubble through her daily life, not very bright but also not very relevant. We just knew we didnít really want to be rich and famous."

MOOD: annoyed at certain people
MUSIC: too busy to turn on Netscape radio- silence will do

My Life As: A sort of quirky girl with big dreams and the alarming tendency to say exactly what she thinks (even to her grandmother).

Image hosting by TinyPic

I'm a nineteen year-old aspiring revolutionary. I would love to sit down and discuss life with you over coffee and a cigarette. Those are the kinds of people who you really value in your life. The ones you can discuss current events, lit, and pretentious music with over coffee and cigarettes. My sister is my hero. Most days my brother is my best friend.

My first blog entry, so very long ago: Allright, I have finally put all these insane thoughts in my head onto the internet for billions of psychos to have complete access to.

"All the cracks you see can be repaired
and if you start to fall, we will be there
don't drown yourself in all your old regrets
because all the heaviness will steal away your breath
step out of that life
it's nowhere near your time
and don't forget you called it all bullshit
it still is and if you stop giving into it
you will walk away the freest man
shake your head
loosen your grip
raise up your fist
you are the freest man
open your mouth
scream it out loud
forget all your doubt
you are the freest man"

Eight things you should know (about me):
  • I am constantly reading. My current obsessions are Haruki Murakami and F. Scott Fitzgerald. In spite of this, I would not yet consider myself well-read. I have yet to tackle the Russians and I forget books very easily.
  • I waffle between co-dependent and fiercly independent.
  • I despise bullshit and cliches. I am impressed by honesty and candor. I do not mean to offend people by the things I say. I respect individuals' opinions (even if I disagree).
  • I'm trying to learn Czech so I can travel to Prague with my grandfather next summer. If I can convince him to go with me. I wish so much that I knew him better.
  • I like vintage and retro stuff. Especially clothing. And cigarette holders/ashtrays from the 60s. I have reached that stage in life where I desperately desire an apartment to decorate and a kitchen to cook in. I can be very domestic when I'm in the mood.
  • I did not think I was very smart until I came to college. I wish I had realized my potential sooner in life.
  • I am idealistic as well as cynically realistic. It makes for quite the internal struggle.
  • I am not emotionally affected by children. I don't dislike them, but babies don't make me all hot and bothered. I don't intend to have children until I am thirty.
